Flood Advisory until 08:30PM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Lancaster and York.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Willow Street, Paradise, Strasburg, Quarryville, Stewartstown, Holtwood, Sunnyburn, Shenks Ferry, Safe Harbor, Smithville, Susquehanna Trails, Conestoga, Georgetown, Fawn Grove, Refton, Rawlinsville, Airville and Buck. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
