Flood Advisory until 09:15PM Thursday

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following county, Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 605 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.6 and 0.9 inches of rain have fallen. - Mesa Verde National Park is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. This includes the following streams and drainages... Johnson Canyon, Mc Elmo Creek, Navajo Canyon, Mancos River, Moccasin Canyon and Grass Canyon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mesa Verde Natl Park.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MONTEZUMA, CO
