National Night Out Community Cookout Today from 11am-2pm 
The Lake in the Hills Police Department invites you to the FREE National Night Out Community Cookout today from 11am until 2pm at the Irv Floress Safety Education Center (1109 Crystal Lake Rd).
Check out the LifeNet helicopter up close, watch a live K-9 demo presented by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, visit with the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District, meet "PC" the Patrol Car Robot, see and touch various types of police and fire vehicles, try on a pair of fatal vision impairment goggles, visit with our tactical bike and traffic units, and more. We’ll be serving up free hotdogs, chips and pop. We hope to see you there!
