H&S 11366 - Operate a Drug House
PC 22210 - Possession of a Leaded Cane
LOCATION: 100 Block of North K Street
SUSPECT(S): Kevin Campbell, 38-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, August 4, 2022, at approximatey 12:31 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a welfare check in the 100 block of North K Street reference a male screaming. Deputies contacted a male identified as Kevin Campbell.
During the the investigation, deputies located several loaded, high capacity magazines and learned Campbell was a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing the items.
Deputies served a search warrant and recovered a stolen firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazines, suspected narcotics and a large quantity of cash. Campbell was subsequently arrested for a violation of PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm, H&S 11370.1(A) - Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, PC 496(A) - Receive Stolen Property, H&S 11350(A) - Possession of a Controlled Substance, H&S 11366 - Operate a Drug House, and PC 22210 - Possession of a Leaded Cane.
Campbell remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with bail set at $50,000, awaiting a court hearing.
