* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Nevada and northwest Nevada, including the following counties, in northeast Nevada, Elko. In northwest Nevada, Humboldt.
* WHEN...Until 500 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 149 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 0.7 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Northwestern Elko and Northeastern Humboldt Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
