High Heat Advisory Through Tuesday
High Heat and Humidity through Tuesday Areawide – Maximum heat index values will range from the upper 90s to lower 100s on Monday afternoon in the region. Heat indices will be a bit more widespread on Tuesday afternoon with heat indices of 100 to 105 possible. 
 • Impacts – There continues to be an elevated risk of heat-related illness for the vulnerable populations through Tuesday. Isolated Afternoon and early evening flash flood and severe thunderstorm risk for the region.– Scattered showers and thunderstorms development during the afternoon into early evening hours Monday and Tuesday will pose a localized risk of flash flooding and severe weather. 
Please remain hydrated and look for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Please also check on children, the elderly and pets.
