On Friday August 05, 2022 at approximately 1:48 a.m. Harper Woods Police Officers responded to a burglary alarm of a business in the 19800 block of Kelly Road. Due to the immediate response from the officers, they located and arrested the suspect near the business with numerous items of stolen property valued at over $4,000.00. The stolen property was inventoried by police then returned to the store owners.
On Saturday August 06, 2022 ANDERSON AVERY, a 31 year old Warren resident, was arrainged and formally charged with:
Count 1: Breaking & Entering-A Building With Intent
Count 2: Larceny In A Building
AVERY is currenlty held on bond in the Wayne County Jail. AVERY has a Preliminary Examination scheduled for August 24, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
