On August 07, 2022 (Sunday), at approximately 3:35am, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a two-vehicle collision on Rancho Vista Boulevard, just west of Cricket Lane, which is within the incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.
 
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 3:35 am on August 07, 2022, a 2003 Dodge Ram was driving eastbound in the number one lane of Rancho Vista Boulevard.  The Dodge Ram veered into the number one westbound lane of Rancho Vista Boulevard for unknown reasons and collided head on into a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, which was driving westbound in the number one lane of Rancho Vista Boulevard.  Both drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles and were pronounced deceased on scene.
