Flood Advisory until 04:30PM 
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central New Mexico, including the following counties, Los Alamos, Rio Arriba and Sandoval.
* WHEN...Until 430 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall and excessive runoff will lead to minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 129 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 2 inches of rain are estimated to have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Northern Los Alamos, South Central Rio Arriba and Northeastern Sandoval Counties, including the headwaters of Santa Clara Creek, Gallina Creek, Rio de Abiquiu, and the Rio del Oso.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LOS ALAMOS, NM ... RIO ARRIBA, NM ... SANDOVAL, NM
Instructions:
Do not camp along streams and rivers. Remain alert when hiking in steep, narrow canyons. Know where you are relative to low spots and drainages.
