The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District (OCMVCD) is reporting an elevated level of invasive Aedes mosquitoes and an increased risk of mosquito-borne disease in areas of Santa Ana. Residential mosquito control applications are scheduled on August 10th and 11th between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. to decrease the mosquito population and lower the risk of mosquito-borne disease in the area west of South Greenville Street to South Bristol Street, North of Edinger Avenue to McFadden Avenue.
Application dates and times may change due to weather, environmental conditions or other operational needs. Residents can check the treatment schedule and determine whether their homes are located within the treatment area HERE. Residents in treatment areas will be notified prior to the treatment date with door flyers left at their homes.

El Distrito de Control de Mosquitos y Vectores del Condado de Orange (Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District) informa un nivel elevado de mosquitos Aedes invasivos y un mayor riesgo de enfermedades transmitidas por mosquitos en áreas de Santa Ana.
