Victor Valley Deputies Arrest Two Suspects for Drugs and Weapons Charges

LOCATION: 8700 Block of Sidewinder Lane, Apple Valley
SUSPECT: Michael Allen, 38 years-old, resident of Hesperia
William Allen, 40 years-old, resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 7:27am, deputies responded to a 911 call in the 8700 block of Sidewinder Lane in Apple Valley.
According to the victim, he was not currently home but was told by a neighbor there were trespassers on his property. When deputies arrived at the location, the suspects were gone. Deputies located a stolen Chevrolet truck on the property. According to the owner of the property, there was to be no one on his property and he knew nothing about the Chevrolet truck. The recovered, stolen truck was towed and no suspect information was available.
At 10:30am on the same day, deputies received a 911 call indicating the suspects had returned. When deputies arrived, the suspects were gone but had broken into the locked residence and an RV on the property. The victim was still unable to provide deputies with any suspect information.
At 5:23pm, deputies received a call that the suspects had once again returned. This time the victim was able to provide suspect descriptions and a description of the vehicle they were driving. With the assistance of the California Highway Patrol's Aviation Division, deputies were able to stop the suspect vehicle leaving the area.
Michael Allen and William Allen were arrested without incident. Inside the vehicle, deputies located two loaded firearms, approximately 8.9 grams of methamphetamine, 2/9 grams of black tar heroin and several loaded hypodermic needles. The suspects were also found in possession of stolen property from the victim’s residence.
William Allen, who is a convicted felon, and Michael Allen were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center.
