Advisory
On 8/8/22, at 4:15 AM, Janesville officers were sent to a traffic complaint involving a vehicle driving the wrong way on the Center Avenue bridge. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle at that time.
At approximately 5:00 AM, Officers located the described vehicle in the traffic complaint driving south on Milton Avenue near the Janesville Mall. The officer observed driving behaviors that indicated the driver may be impaired. A traffic stop on the vehicle was conducted and the driver, Veronica Mcintyre, displayed signs of impairment. Veronica failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating while intoxicated (4th offense). A legal blood draw was taken from Veronica. The results are pending.
Veronica had a revoked driver license through Wisconsin for alcohol related offenses and showed three prior OWI convictions.
