In the early morning hours of August 9, Simi Valley Police Department received a call from a concerned citizen regarding three subjects asleep in a vehicle in the 1700 block of Cochran Street.  The citizen was concerned because he tried waking the subjects up, but was unable to.

When officers arrived on scene, they also attempted to wake the subjects, but were unable to.  Officers eventually got the subjects out of the vehicle.  Two of the subjects were juveniles and were each in possession of handguns.

The two juveniles were lodged at juvenile hall for possession of firearms.  One of the juveniles was also lodged for possession of a stolen firearm.  The third subject, 20 year-old Carlos Ramirez an Oxnard resident, was arrested and booked in Ventura County Main Jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
