A weather advisory from Mayor Amato and Berkeley OEM: 

Residents can expect to experience extreme temperatures until later this evening (Tuesday 8/9).  Temperatures may reach into the high 90s and possibly up to 100 degrees during this period. This excessive heat can be dangerous for the elderly and young children. Make sure that you drink plenty of fluids and reduce the amount o lf time spent in the sun.

In the event of a long duration power outage check the BTPD and Berkeley Township FB pages for additional information cooling centers. Several locations have been identified to assist with this effort if needed.
