* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee, including the following areas, Campbell, Claiborne, Hancock and Scott TN. Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following areas, Lee, Russell, Scott VA, Washington VA and Wise.

* WHEN...From Noon EDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow-moving front will gradually approach the area from the north, leading to numerous showers and thunderstorms today. With continually saturated soils and potential for locally heavy/repeated rainfall, isolated to scattered flash flooding are of concern. Locations that receive repeated rounds of rain will be most susceptible to flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
