Santa Rosa Fire is assisting CHP with a major vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles on eastbound Highway 12 at Dutton Avenue. Eastbound Highway 12 is closed at Dutton Avenue for the next few hours. The accident involved multiple vehicles with two of them requiring extrication to remove the patients. Santa Rosa Fire responded with 2 Engines, 2 Ladder Trucks, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Public Information Officer. AMRs response included 4 Ambulances and 1 Supervisor. CHP has asked that drivers please avoid the immediate area due to traffic and the closure.
