Flood Advisory until 01:15PM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Areas along the Lower Little Susitna River.

* WHEN...Until 115 PM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads and low lying properties were reported to be flooded Monday night and Tuesday downstream from the Parks Highway Bridge and are expected to be impacted by flood waters until tomorrow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM AKDT, 5 to 7 inches of rain has fallen since Sunday in the Talkeetna Mountains which lead to minor to moderate flooding on rivers and steams draining the mountains. Water levels have receded below flood stage on most waterways in the area with the exception of the Little Susitna River near the Parks Highway, which has crested but still remains in moderate flood stage. Water levels on the Little Susitna River will continue to slowly recede through the rest of the week and are forecasted to fall below flood stage (11.0 ft) by tomorrow afternoon. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along the Lower Little Susitna River stay alert and be prepared to take action.
