Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male adult in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles.
Deputies from the East Los Angeles Station responded to the 4900 block of E. Cesar E Chavez Avenue in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles regarding a call for service to check the vicinity.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at approximately 04:55 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they located the victim, a Hispanic male, approximately 15 to 20 years of age, lying on the ground unresponsive and suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. The murder weapon remains outstanding.
It is unknown if the incident is gang related.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
