TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced for Ecuadorian Festival and Parade
 
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to the Ecuadorian Festival and Parade on the below-designated dates and times:
 
Festival - 10 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, to 11 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2022

- Edison Place between Ferry Street and Raymond Plaza East
- Bruen Street between Hamilton Street and Edison Place

Parade - 10 a.m., to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2022

- Ferry Street between St. Francis Street and Peter Francisco Park (Raymond Plaza East) 

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
 
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activities to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).  All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
