Charity motorcycle ride Sat may impact traffic
We want to let the public know of a charity motorcycle ride that may impact traffic on Saturday, August 13th. It is the 6th Annual Specialist Chris Patterson Motorcycle Ride, which covers about 50 miles throughout Kane County.
The ride should reach the North Aurora area at around 11am on Saturday northbound on Rt. 31 from Sullivan Rd to Oak St.
(w) on Oak to Juniper
(N) on Juniper to Cherrywood
(E) on Cherrywood to Sycamore
(S) on Sycamore to Oak
(E) on Oak to 31
(S) on 31 to State
(E) on State (Rt. 56) to Hart Road
(N) on Hart to Lutheran Church
(S) on Hart to Rt. 56
(w) on Rt. 56 to Banbury
(N) on Banbury to the Cemetery
(N) on Cemetery out of town
The ride will be led and trailed by North Aurora Police officers and assisted by North Aurora CERT volunteers at numerous intersections throughout the area. In addition, we will have assistance from numerous police agencies as we pass through their towns.
We ask for patience and understanding. Please adjust your travel plans if needed to avoid delays.
