INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Saturday, August 13, 2022 at about 3:45 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to area of Bonita Avenue and Towne Avenue in reference to an injury traffic collision. Responding officers discovered three vehicles collided in the intersection of Bonita Avenue and Towne Avenue. An adult male driver was found unresponsive at the scene. The driver was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, a short time later, the adult male driver had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The male driver in this collision was identified at the scene. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in this collision. The Pomona Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating this collision.
