OSBI INVESTIGATING MURDER OF COLBERT MAN 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COLBERT, Okla. (August 15, 2022) - The Colbert Police Department requested assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) with a homicide that occurred yesterday evening.
Colbert police received a 9-1-1 call from 510 Martin Luther King in Colbert reporting that Willie Berry, 56, had been shot outside the residence. Berry was pronounced deceased at the scene. His brother, Darren Bradford (8/8/1973) turned himself in to the Colbert police and is currently in the Bryan County Jail facing a murder charge.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the shooting is asked to contact the OSBI at (800) 522-8017 or osbi.ok.gov.
