The Muskegon Police Department is seeing an increase in thefts from motor vehicles. Most items are being taken from unlocked vehicles. To prevent theft from your vehicle, do the following:
-Lock your doors
-Leave your porch lights on and park in well-lit areas
-Take out all valuables
-Report suspicious activity to 911
