GLWA WATER MAIN BREAK: WATER RESTRICTIONS & BOIL ALERT STILL IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
August 16th Update: GLWA is in process of repairing water main. Washington Township remains under a "Boil Water Alert" for Water Customers due to low water pressure. We are advising residents to boil water prior to use. Please refrain from discretionary water use like irrigation, laundry, etc. until further notice. We are asking all local businesses to refrain as well.
We are working with the County and State about water distribution and will be sending out Nixle, Township Website, and on WBRW Channel 6 for more details when water will be available.
We currently don’t have a time estimate as to when the break will be repaired, we will pass updates once they become available. This does not affect residents served by well water.
Please visit our Website at www.washingtontownship.org for further updates.
