Alert

Trash collection continues to experience delays.

Republic officials have reported that areas not finished on the Monday route should be completed by the end of the day.  Any areas left from Monday's route will be completed first thing Wednesday. Republic personnel will also complete the Thursday route that was incomplete yesterday.

Tuesdays trash routes were not collected today due to mechanical breakdowns on several Republic trucks.  Republic will have three (3) trucks collecting Tuesday's regular routes on Wednesday.  It is likely that collections will continue to run one day later than usual for the rest of this week.  Wednesdays regular trash route will be collected on Thursday, Thursdays regular route will be collected on Friday, and Fridays regular route will be collected on Saturday.

Affected residents should leave their trash cans at the street for collection until Republic can get them collected.  Residents who have a missed trash collection starting tomorrow should report it to the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791.

Republic has indicated that they are trying to get routes back on track for collection starting Monday, 8/22.  Medford Township officials are exploring alternative options to get trash collected in the event this happens again.  We appreciate your patience as we work through this temporary delay.

Instructions:

Affected residents should leave their trash cans at the street for collection until Republic can get them collected.  Residents who have a missed trash collection starting tomorrow should report it to the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791.
