On 08-15-2022 at approximately 7:25pm, deputies responded to the area of 3732 S Houseman Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Both the driver and front seat passenger were trapped and unconscious inside of the vehicle after leaving the roadway and striking two trees. The Honey Creek Fire Department along with the Riley Fire Department and Transcare Ambulance arrived on scene and worked to free both driver and passenger. Driver and passenger were Lifelined to Indianapolis hospitals for further treatment. The investigation is ongoing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved. John Plasse Vigo County Sheriff
