We are pleased to welcome Hey Bulldog to the stage at Grove One in Donaldson Park tomorrow night, Thursday August 18th, at 6:00 pm, for the fourth and final performance in the Borough’s new Parkstock Summer Outdoor Concert Series.
Hey Bulldog a diverse group of local musicians from New Brunswick, NJ, joined together as part of an ‘open jam’ to play songs by The Beatles on John Lennon’s birthday in 2004. While Beatles fans have no shortage of options when it comes to tribute bands, Hey Bulldog likes to make it clear that they are definitely not a ‘tribute’ act but five musicians that play with creativity and whose backgrounds in Rock’n’Roll, hard rock, psychedelic and improvisational rock are at the core of their Beatles cover performances.
The group features Pete Horvath (Guitarist/Singer), Tommy Straza (Bassist/Singer), Gerry Rosenthal (Drummer/Singer), Jeff Fernandes (Drummer/Singer) and Pat Bridge (Singer/Percussionist).
While they’re playing, audience members and other park visitors can purchase food from these three vendors who will be joining us this week –
