The Imlay City Government has secured a second allocation of potable water for those who could not make Todays distribution. The location will again be at Fairgrounds tomorrow, Thursday, August 18th, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm. Volunteers will be handing out gallon jugs to qualified recipients.
No personal containers allowed
Entry into the fairgrounds will be off of Almont Ave. Residents will directed to drive over to the Midway inside, get their water and then exit out onto Borland Road. The Imlay City Police Department will provide security at the site and assist in directing the flow of traffic into and out of the fairgrounds.
Officials from Imlay City will be checking IDs at the gate to ensure their residents are admitted to the site to get their water. Non-residents will be turned away.
During these hours, access to Borland from M-53/Cedar St will be closed.
