INCIDENT: VC 10851(A) - Vehicle Theft
LOCATION: 7000 Block of Nokomis Trail, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Charles Taylor, 45-years-old, Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at approximately 2:57 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 7000 block of Nokomis Trail for a stolen vehicle report.
Through investigation, the suspect, Charles Taylor, was found to have stolen the victim's vehicle and attempted to sell it to a salvage company.
Taylor was arrested for VC 10851(A) - Vehicle Theft and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Taylor remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000, awaiting a court hearing.
