INCIDENT: PC 4573.6(A), Possession of a Controlled Substance in Jail
LOCATION: 1111 Bailey Ave., Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Antonie Johnson, 51-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at approximately 4:31 a.m., Antonie Johnson was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of Unlawful Ammunition, H&S 11378 - Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale and H&S 11351 - Possession of a Controlled Substance.
While Johnson was in custody, a person search was conducted. During the search, Johnson was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Johnson was additionally charged for PC 4573.6(A) - Possession of a Controlled Substance in Jail. Johnson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a combined bail amount of $310,000, awaiting a court hearing.
