Republic continues to experience delays with trash collection in Medford.
Republic officials have provided an update to trash collection efforts in Medford Township. Their crews were able to complete the streets that were remaining from Mondays regular collection routes. Republic crews completed most of the Hoot Owl neighborhood with the exception of Bayau Trail and Vernetta Lane. Areas not collected today include portions of Sherwood Forest, Birchwood Lakes, and Deerbrook. Residents in areas other than what is listed above that experienced a missed collection today should call the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791.
Affected residents should leave their carts curbside for collection on Thursday. Incompleted areas will be collected first thing Thursday morning before they begin collections in Wednesdays regular routes. In addition, Medford Township staff will collect a portion of Wednesdays regular collection route in Medford Village.
Republic continues to experience mechanical breakdowns that are contributing to these delayed collections. Medford Township continues to explore options to help collect trash in a timely fashion. We appreciate your continued patience as we work through this temporary delay.
Instructions:
