SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Remy Navarro, 38-year-old resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY:
On Monday, August 15, 2022, at 5:51 a.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Station responded to the 16300 block of Butterfield Ranch Road in Chino Hills for a report of a male subject who had been shot. When deputies arrived, they located Remy Navarro down in a breezeway. Navarro sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to a hospital, and later pronounced deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation. This investigation is ongoing, and the suspect remains at large.
