Human Trafficking Operation

On 08-18-22, the City of Green Bay Police Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) conducted a one-day joint operation, focused on identifying and locating victims of human trafficking.

Green Bay Police Detectives and DCI Agents investigated individuals involved in both child sex trafficking and human trafficking type incidents.  As a result, two adult males were arrested for incidents involving solicitation.  One of the suspects was arrested for Child Enticement- “Using a Computer Device to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime, and Human Trafficking”.

In addition, one victim of human trafficking was located and safely recovered.

This operation was conducted as a follow-up to a recent, nationwide, enforcement campaign named “Operation Cross Country”.

If you have any information regarding human trafficking, please call 920-448-3200 to speak to a detective or detective supervisor.  If you wish to remain anonymous, contact the Green Bay Area Crime Stoppers by phone (920) 432-7867, through their website at www.432stop.com, or by downloading the P3 app through Google play or App store.
