Large Fireworks Damage Football Field 
Just after 2am on August 20, several citizens called to report what sounded like gunshots in the area of Simi Valley High School. Officers checked the area and found what appeared to be the remnants of large fireworks on the football field. The explosion caused burn marks and an indent in the turf.
