Watch Commander’s Night Report - August 19, 2022

1. Resisting Arrest (1737) 7000 Michael Canlis Boulevard, San Joaquin County
While booking an arrested suspect at the county jail, the suspect refused to obey the officer’s commands and grabbed his baton. The suspect was forced to the ground and held until additional officers could assist. ARRESTED: Erica Lamb, 33, for drunk in public, resisting arrest, and attempting to disarm a peace officer.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1818) 1500 Block of East Scotts Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 25, was unloading items from his vehicle when the suspect approached him on foot, brandished a knife, and attempted to stab him. A witness helped the victim fight off the suspect, and he fled on foot. The suspect was located and arrested by officers a short distance away. ARRESTED: Alfredo Rodriguez, 39, for assault with a deadly weapon.

3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1926) 3200 Block of Lakeshore Court, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 54, was in an argument with his roommate. The suspect charged the victim with a knife and hit him with the handle portion. The suspect was taken into custody by responding officers without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Xavier Holland, 29, for assault with a deadly weapon.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2130) 3200 Block of Farmington Road, Park District
The male victim, 27, was in the listed area when the two suspects arrived in a pick-up truck. The suspects began to fight with the victim, and during the fight, one of the suspects stabbed the victim with a sharp object. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.

5. Carjacking (2130) 2500 Block of South Mariposa Road, Park District
The male victim, 40, got into an argument with the suspect, his passenger. The victim stopped the van and began to fight with the suspect. The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

6. Residential Robbery (2130) 1900 Block of Pyrenees Avenue, Valley Oak District
The male and female victims, 66 and 70, were inside their residence when five suspects entered through the rear sliding door. The suspects ordered the victims to open their safe, and stole their property. SUSPECTS: Five Black male adults.

7. Homicide (2236) 4900 Block of Greensboro Way, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a person shot. Officers located three male victims, 24, 27, and 36, suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the scene to provide medical treatment, but one victim succumbed to his injuries. The other two victims were transported to a local hospital for non-life- threatening injuries. Detectives responded to continue the investigation.

8. Resisting Arrest (0101) 7200 Block of Murray Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to a silent burglary alarm at the listed location. When officers arrived, they located two suspects still on scene. The suspects fled on foot, and officers were able to capture one of the suspects. ARRESTED: Steven Margo, 34, for burglary, resisting arrest, and a warrant. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.

9. Resisting Arrest (0303) 1000 Block of North Airport Way, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance. Officers attempted to detain the suspect when he pulled away. The suspect was taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Noah Gonzales, 21, for resisting arrest.
