Shooting Investigation
On Friday, August 19th, 2022, at approximately 11:50 PM, Union City Police Department officers were dispatched to the Mexico Lindo restaurant for a just occurred shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located two adult male victims (28 and 29 years old) with gunshot wounds at the crowded restaurant. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
UCPD Detectives responded and took over this investigation.
This was an isolated incident and there are no additional threats to the public.
