The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southwestern Woodford County in central Illinois... Northeastern Tazewell County in central Illinois... Northwestern McLean County in central Illinois...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 243 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Washington, or 7 miles west of Eureka, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Deer Creek around 255 PM CDT. Eureka around 300 PM CDT. Goodfield around 305 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Congerville. This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 104 and 115.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MCLEAN, IL ... TAZEWELL, IL ... WOODFORD, IL

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Lincoln.
