A large tree branch came down on electrical wires on Mamaroneck Avenue causing them to catch fire. Con Ed and FD are on scene now. Traffic southbound Mamaroneck Avenue is shut down. Electrical power had to be turned off to multiple homes in the area. At this current time, we do not have a time frame from Con Ed on when the power will be turned on again.
