Flood Advisory until 11:00PM Saturday
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the following county, Vermilion.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 831 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms across northern Vermilion County. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen since 730 PM between Rankin and Hoopeston. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hoopeston, Rossville and Rankin.
* AFFECTED AREAS: VERMILION, IL
