Flash Flood Warning until 08:45PM Sunday

The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Beaufort County in southeastern South Carolina... Jasper County in southeastern South Carolina...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 626 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over a portion of the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Another band of thunderstorms is moving towards the area and it could drop an additional 1 to 3 inches in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Rose Hill, Sun City, Pritchardville, Calawassie Island, Palmetto Bluff, Myrtle Island, Brighton Beach, Caril Bowers Bridge, Wilton Graves Bridge and Levy.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BEAUFORT, SC ... JASPER, SC
