* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bastrop, Bexar, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, Lee, Medina and Uvalde.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff and heavy rainfall may result in the flooding of rivers, creeks and low-water crossings. Flooding is possible at underpasses, and in poor drainage and urban areas where ditches may become clogged with debris. Rivers may rise to bankfull or into minor flooding. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rains are forecast to develop this afternoon and tonight. Additional heavy rains are forecast Tuesday afternoon and evening and into Wednesday morning. Rainfall rates of 2-3" per hour are possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Extensive street and low-water crossing flooding is possible. Roads and low-water crossings may become impassable. Avoid driving where water covers the road, as stalled vehicles put first responders at risk. Turn Around, Don't Drown! You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
