LOCATION: Indian Trail / Mesquite Springs Road, Twentynine Palms
SUSPECT(S): Amy Martin, 42-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, August 18, 2022, at approximately 1:54 a.m., Deputy Crowl was patrolling in the area of Indian Trail and Mesquite Springs Road in Twentynine Palms and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without license plates. Crowl identified the driver as Amy Martin. During a search of the vehicle, Crowl found a loaded firearm and narcotics. Martin was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for H&S 11370.1 - Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed. Bail was set at $50,000.
