Flood Advisory until 05:15PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bandera, Medina and Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 215 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bandera, Tarpley, Hill Country State Natural Area, Bandera Falls, Lakehills, Pipe Creek, Utopia and Lake Medina Shores. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
