On August 19th, 2022, at 6:30PM, Novato Police Officers responded to the report of a burglary in progress at a commercial building in the 100 block of Roblar Drive.

The caller reported that a man was observed hopping a fence and stealing items from storage buildings on the property. The man was still in the area, hiding nearby in the bushes. Responding officers arrived, set a perimeter around the property, and conducted an extensive search of the area. Officers detained 48-year-old, Allen David Morgan, near the end of Pamaron Way.

During their investigation, officers discovered that a second business (on Commercial Blvd) was also burglarized. Morgan was found to be in possession of property that was stolen from storage units on Pamaron Way and the business on Commercial Blvd. Morgan was arrested and booked at the Marin County Jail for burglary and possession of stolen property.
