INCIDENT: PC 422(A) - Criminal Threats and PC 368(B)(1) - Elder Abuse
LOCATION: 14800 Block of Del Rey Drive, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Charles Abreu, 53-Years-Old, Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at approximately 11:51 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service in the 14800 Block of Del Rey Drive and came in contact with the suspect, Charles Abreu. Through investigation, Abreu was found to be in violation of PC 422(A) - Terrorist Threats and PC368(B)(1) - Elder Abuse, after threatening the victim during an altercation.
Abreu was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Abreu remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $75,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
