8:12 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft from an unsecured vehicle in the 39000 block of North Darner Dr that occurred within the last hour. Loss was a backpack and credit cards. Incident is still being investigated.

7:06 PM: Officers responded to the 5000 block of Mowry Avenue of a report of a possible DUI driver attempting to leave the parking lot. Upon arrival, Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 29 year old female out of Fremont for DUI. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 11:55 PM: Officers responded to the 6000 block of Overlake Place on a report of trespassing. Officers arrived on scene and attempted to make contact but the subject disregarded officer commands and fled on foot. Officers gave chase and located the subject nearby. Officers ultimately arrested the subject, a 40-year old male out of Fremont, for resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools, probation violation, possession drug paraphernalia, possession of illegal fireworks and prowling. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

4:09 AM: Officers responded to a report of trespassing in the 35000 block of Windermere. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with a 26-year old male out of Newark. He was arrested for trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:59 PM: Officer Garcia made contact and arrested a 32 year old female out of Chino in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave for trespassing. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

7:03 AM: Officer Adami and Officer Taylor investigated an overnight theft of a catalytic converter in the 39000 block of Ebbetts St.

7:58 AM: Officer Piquette investigated a commercial burglary in the 36000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was a large sum of money.  
4:31 PM: Officers responded to a report of a subject too inebriated to care for himself or others in the 37000 block of Cherry Street. Upon arrival, Officer Piquette made contact and arrested a 39-year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:33 PM: Officer Hunter responded to the 37000 block of Sycamore Street for a report of a theft. Officer Hunter made contact and arrested a 33-year old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. He was issued a citation and released on scene.
2:14 PM: Officer Piquette responded to the area of Ardenwood Blvd and Highway 84 for a hit and run vehicle collision. Officers located an involved subject nearby. The subject, a 34-year old male out of Newark, was ultimately arrested for DUI and hit & run. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:07 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mowry Avenue. Total loss was polo equipment and a camera.

9:46 AM: Officers responded to a report of an individual exposing herself to others in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Officers made contact and arrested a 23-year old female out of Newark for indecent exposure. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:34 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated two thefts of catalytic converters in the southern area of the city.

10:04 AM:  Officer McCuin located an occupied stolen vehicle in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. A high-risk stop was initiated. Officers made contact and arrested a 33-year old female out of Newark for possession of a stolen vehicle and a 38-year old male out of San Jose for an outstanding warrant. Both were booked at Santa Rita Jail.

1:16 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 20-year old male out of Atlanta in the 5000 block of Stevenson Blvd for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
2:46 AM: Officer Quinones initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cherry Street and Plummer Ave. Officer Quinones made contact and arrested a 56-year-old male out of El Sobrante for an active warrant. He was issued a citation and released on scene.

10:10 AM: Officer Arroyo initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cedar Blvd and Smith Ave. Officer Arroyo made contact and arrested a 42-year old female out of San Leandro for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:36 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a report of a theft of a vehicle in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd that occurred overnight.

11:13 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Sycamore St.
2:32 PM: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Fair Ave and Hafner St. Officers arrived and a records check revealed the vehicle was stolen out of San Leandro. Officers made contact with three subjects associated to the vehicle and ultimately arrested a 21-year old female out of Newark for possession of a stolen vehicle. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:34 AM: Officer McCuin located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the 38000 block of Primula Te.
12:25 PM: Officer McCuin located an occupied stolen vehicle in the area of Filbert St and Carter Ave. A high-risk stop ensued and two occupants were detained without incident. Officer McCuin ultimately arrested a 36-year old male out of Hayward for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
4:39 PM: Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 5000 block of Abington Ct. Upon arrival and initial investigation, the burglary was unfounded but officers did make contact and arrested a 23-year old female for trespassing. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:30 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 36000 block of Buckeye St. On 8/10/22 the vehicle was located in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd.
9:25 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated two burglaries to vehicles that occurred in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Loss was a makeup bag and a laptop respectively.
9:58 PM: Officer Herrera investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Souza Ave. On 8/7/22 the vehicle was located in Oakland.

4:07 PM: Officer Rivas investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 6000 block of Joaquin Murieta Ave.
4:35 PM: Officer Rivera investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 6300 block of Potrero Dr.

9:35 AM: During a security check on Baine Ave, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle. Officers initiated a high-risk stop, but the driver disregarded officer commands and the vehicle fled. Officers did not initiate a pursuit. The incident is still being investigated.
1:15 PM: Officer Johnson and Officer Sanchez made contact and arrested a 28-year old male out of Vallejo for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:53 PM: Officers responded to a disturbance in the 6000 block of Baine Ave. Officers made contact and arrested a 36-year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
4:11 PM: Officers made contact and arrested a 49-year old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the 37000 block of Newark Blvd. He was issued a citation and released.
9:53 PM: Officer Quinonez responded to a report of a disturbance in the 36000 block of Darvon St. Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 34-year old female out of Newark for possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
10:38 PM: Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 6000 block of Baine Ave. Upon arrival, officers contacted approximately 20 subjects. One subject disregarded Officer commands and attempted to walk away, officers ultimately made contact and arrested the subject, a 20-year old male out of Newark, for possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:06 AM: An officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cotton Ave and Hill St. Officers made contact and arrested a 48-year old female out of Newark for possession of a controlled substance for sale and an outstanding warrant. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:55 AM: Officer Riddles initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of 880 and Mowry Ave. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. A pursuit was not initiated. Incident is still being investigated. 
12:15 AM: Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 22-year old female out of Milpitas for an outstanding warrant. She was issued a notice to appear and released.
12:57 AM: Officer Herrera responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Foutain Ave and La Salle Dr. Officers made contact and arrested a 63-year old male out of Newark for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:17 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 40-year old male out of Fremont in the area of Jarvis Ave and Lido Blvd for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:47 AM: Officer Pacheco investigated a theft of two tires from a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Olive St.
8:55 AM: Officer Johnson investigated a theft that occurred in the area of Enterprise Dr and Seawind Way. Loss was about $12,000 worth of materials from a construction site.
9:39 AM: Officer Sanchez investigated a theft of a catalytic converter in the 6200 block of Joaquin Murieta Ave.
11:13 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a theft of a catalytic converter in the 6000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
