Full Notification

At approximately 7:30 AM this date this department received calls from two residents regarding a suspicious black Audi sedan in the area of their residences. The first caller, from the area of Yale Farms, reported observing a suspicious black Audi sedan driving on the street. Subsequently, the second caller from the Windmill Farms area reported that he discovered an occupant of similarly described black Audi sedan opening the doors of his vehicle that was parked in the garage The subjects were unsuccessful in committing the theft. Police Officers conducted a canvass of the entire area with the assistance of neighboring police jurisdictions, but the vehicle was unable to be located. Greenwich PD also alerted this department during our investigation that they had a similar incident in their jurisdiction in the area of the State line. At this time the investigation is ongoing.
 
The North Castle Police Department wants to remind all Town residents to please lock their vehicles and secure their valuables when parked in driveways. Please DO NOT leave key fobs inside of your unattended vehicle.
