LOCATION: Sunglass Hut located at The Shoppes in Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Brandy Valentine, 36-year-old female resident of Chino Hills
VICTIM(S): Sunglass Hut
SUMMARY: On June 5, 2022, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a female entered the Sunglass Hut and selected three pairs of sunglasses worth over $1,000. The female concealed the sunglasses and exited the store without paying. The suspect entered a vehicle and witnesses provided a license plate to deputies. Through investigation, detectives identified Brandy Valentine as the female who stole the sunglasses.
On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at approximately 4:05 P.M., Valentine was contacted at her residence in Chino Hills and arrested. Valentine was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 487(A) - Grand Theft.
