Goodwin School community: please review the traffic safety plan for arrival & dismissal

Schools are back in session and safety is our top priority. Additionally, we want to make sure that traffic flow is orderly for parents as well as residents who live near the schools. We're working with our partners at West Aurora School District to achieve this.
 
Please review the attached reminders and traffic safety plan and join us in promoting a safe and orderly arrival and dismissal each day.  We strongly encourage parents to use the parking lot south of the school as a drop off and pickup point.  Officers will be in the area each day and warnings will be given through Labor Day weekend.

When school starts again on Tuesday, September 6th, violators may be issued ordinance tickets. Fines start at $50 and increase with additional violations. It is our hope to have compliance as we'd rather not issue any tickets.
