1. Battery on an Officer (1405) 4400 Block of North Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the area on the report of a disturbance. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, who resisted. Officers took the suspect to the ground, and the suspect kicked an officer. Neither the suspect nor the officer sustained any injuries. ARRESTED: Nsimba Fungula, 50, for battery on an officer, trespassing, and resisting arrest.

2. Attempted Robbery (1645) Porter Avenue and Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim, 57, was working in an area business when the suspect entered the location, simulated a weapon, and demanded property. The victim refused, and the suspect fled. SUSPECT: Black male adult

3. Homicide (2029) 900 Block of Glendale Avenue, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot and located the male victim, 28. Officers performed life-saving measures; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded to conduct the investigation.

4. Person Stabbed (2038) 2800 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The male victim, 24, was stabbed by an unknown suspect at the call location. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.

5. Person Shot (0005) 6200 Block of Porterfield Court, Bear Creek District
The juvenile victim, 17, was at the call location when multiple suspects began shooting at each other. The victim was shot in the crossfire and treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital. There is no suspect information.
